Subject	battery, alternater, starter, and now knock sensor code!

Message	a little scared right now about my z. seems like everything has been going on the car. i was driving to work and the car died, bad alternater and killed the battery too. replaced them both at pepboys, i needed a quick fix, probably a stupid idea. anyway so a couple weeks later my car started making noise coming from the flywheel when i was drivin it pretty hard. first thought was the flywheel cracked or broke teeth. i let it go and only drove my car to work and back everyday. one morning i wake up and car starts grinding really bad when i go to start it. i look it up and find out its prob my starter. i go and check, yup its the starter hanging on one loose bolt. so i jack it up take it off, clean it out, lube it up, and put it back on, had my mechanic helicoil the new bolt in the bottom. ok good right? nope my car seems to take 3-6 seconds of holding the ignition on before the car starts. so i ask him to check that too. he comes up with a knock sensor code. would that have anything to do with the car taking a little while to start? it seems like once i have it started, then i will turn it off and then it will start right back up once i turn the key. damn this car! haha its probably a bunch of problems! and i have had a lot of engine work done recently (past 6 months) and before when i first bought the car. a couple thousand dollars worth. I have never been able to fully get rid of a slight tapping sound. i am all out of whack and dont even know if its worth it anymore. any suggestions are welcome. btw id buy a new car, but i love the Z and im waiting for the camaro to come out.
